Traveling with 6 adults & 3 kids (4, 3 and 2). ADR at Crystal Palace (dinner), Chef Mickey's (breakfast) and CRT (lunch). Will be there 5 days, any other dining recommendations. Staying at WL villas.

It sounds like you have your character dining covered; how about planning some non-character meals that will still be a fun experience for everyone?

Since you'll be staying at the Wilderness Lodge villas, I'd be remiss not to suggest the Whispering Canyon Cafe.  It's a great place for families to fill their bellies, all the while taking part in the rowdy antics of the restaurant's fun-loving servers.

Teppan Edo--in Epcot's Japan--is one of our favorite places to dine.  It's very similar to traditional hibachi restaurants across the country, where you a chef prepares your meal on a large grill in the center of the table.  And in spite of it being a Japanese restaurant, even the least adventurous eaters in your group will find something to enjoy here.

Beaches and Cream at Disney's Beach Club resort is a sit-down restaurant that serves up hamburgers, fries, and sundaes.  It's a small space and they don't take reservations, but if you arrive right around opening you shouldn't have trouble being seated without much of a wait.  My kids insist on having "the kitchen sink" at least once during each of our vacations!

    Happy dining!

Meet the Panelist: Darcie, Alabama

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
