    We will be traveling with 3 adults and 2 children to the Marathon in Jan. What do you think of Art of Animation and its accessibility to all the race activities? Booking through RunDisney isn't working for me online. Are prices comparable to WDW website?

    Hi Kerry!

    The Art of Animation is an AWESOME resort!  Since all Disney Resorts are host resorts during Walt Disney World Marathon weekend, then they will all have buses running to and from every single race weekend event that takes place.  So, transportation will be taken care of for runners and spectators.  You may just want to be in line for the buses early.  The Value Resorts are very popular during marathon weekend and tend to have longer lines for the buses.

    If the online system isn't working, you can also book by calling 407-WDW-IRUN.  Or, you can book regularly online.  There aren't any runner's discounts on rooms for that weekend, so the prices will be very comparable.  I also like to keep an eye on the Special Offers page.  Sometimes, you will find a discount that is valid during race weekends.  It may not include the resort you prefer, though.
