Hi, I am traveling with 6 adults and 2 children, we only have 3 days to spend in the parks. Do you have a suggested itinerary? Or a place we could find this information? I believe it would be best to have parkhopper tickets, correct? Thank you.

    Hi Jennifer,

It sounds like a fun family vacation! With only three days to spend at Walt Disney World, I would concentrate on selecting two parks to accomplish rather than trying to squeeze in four parks in three days. Instead, see the two parks that interest your traveling party the most and spend quality time in both of them.

I would absolutely recommend at least one full day in the Magic Kingdom. Two is better. Two days at this park would allow your party to slow down and enjoy all the wonderful shows, attractions, fireworks and parades.

Then, I would choose another park to visit on your trip. You can see the best of Animal Kingdom or Disney's Hollywood Studios in a single day. Epcot would take two days unless you choose to tour only Future World or World Showcase.

If you are going to stick to just two parks in three days, I wouldn't bother with park hopper tickets.

For example, tour the first day at the Magic Kingdom taking a mid-day break back at your hotel.
On the second day, tackle your second choice park also taking a mid-day break to swim or visit Downtown Disney.
On your last day, return to the Magic Kingdom to finish any attractions that you didn't see or repeat favorites.

If you decide on your second choice park or  need help with your decision, just let us know. Also, with specific travel dates, we can suggest which park to visit each day so that you avoid crowds.

So excited to hear about your first WDW vacation! Just remember that WDW is twice the size of Manhattan and even with a week or more, it's impossible to see and do it all in one visit!
