I am traveling with adult children before Christmas. This will be our holiday. Is there a way that we can have the room decorated that would be somewhat appropriate for this age group?

    Hi there, Marti!

Most of the room decorations you see at Walt Disney World during the holidays, like the lights and window decor, are supplied by guests. We go every year during the holidays, and we take the opportunity to really deck out our resort room for our kids - who are now having kids of their own.

One of the best resources for holiday decor on property is Disney Floral and Gifts. They can supply Christmas trees, flowers, balloons, and other holiday essentials, but the full on holiday treatment comes in the form of the Disney Christmas In-Room Celebration. With banners, luminaries, and surprises from Santa, the theme this year is Dreaming of a Disney Holiday. Appropriate for kids and kids at heart, you'll find something everyone will enjoy to put you in the holiday spirit.

We usually pack a bag with things like vinyl window clings, some tablescape items, and even lights for our windows. You can't use tape or tacks, but we use suction cups in the windows for our lights. I almost always find something down there to decorate with, too - then it makes a great souvenir to bring home.

Wishing you the happiest holiday season, Marti!
