Hi, We have traveled the Dream and the Fantasy. We loved the ships!!Heard Magic and Wonder are smaller can you explain what the differences would be? Do these ships still have lots of adult areas to relax in? Thank you!! Just got back and planning again

    Hi Stacey!

Welcome back from your FANTASTic Disney Cruise!  I am so glad to hear that you had just as much fun on your second Disney Cruise Line vacation as you had on your first…let me tell you, it keeps getting better!  I love that you literally just got off your voyage and are already planning for your next one…I do the exact same thing!  Hopefully you took advantage of the onboard future cruise specials and either secured your place or a placeholder for your next Disney Cruise Line vacation.

My family has sailed on all four of the Disney Cruise Line ships and honestly our favorites tend to be the smaller ships!  We love the itineraries that they sail, and we love that everything seems so close and easy to navigate onboard!  You will find adult-exclusive spaces on each of the four ships, but one difference is that Remy is only on the two larger ships.  Another key difference that I like to point out is the main dining rooms on the smaller ships.  The Disney Wonder has Tiana’s Place and the Disney Magic is home to Rapunzel’s Royal Table.  Both restaurants feature entertainment during the dinner service and are so much fun!

All four ships have many similarities – same onboard Youth Clubs, Senses Spa and Fitness Center as well as Cabanas buffet restaurant and onboard gift shops.  Unfortunately, the smaller ships do not have the always fun AquaDuck, but the Disney Magic does have a super fun AquaDunk slide!

I highly recommend checking out the itineraries offered on the smaller ships and giving it a go! As I always say…any Mickey Boat vacation is better than no vacation at all!

    Happy Sailing!
