Hi there, Alyssa, and thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It’s great to have you hEAR!
First off, I want to thank you and your fellow Guests for your service… we appreciate the sacrifices you and your families make for our country! I’m so excited for your group to start planning another annual visit to the
Happiest Place on Earth, and I’d love to help!
If you’re interested in paying for your future vacation over a period of time, I recommend purchasing a
Vacation Package from the Walt Disney Travel Company. With a Vacation Package, you’re able to make payments after an initial deposit and pay off your trip gradually. Full payment isn't required until 30 days prior to your arrival. Plus, Vacation Packages include a Magical Extras Savings Card (offering discounts and values at many dining and merchandise locations throughout the Downtown Disney District), and an exclusive Walt Disney Travel Company collectible pin, lanyard and souvenir button for each person in your party (ages 3 and over)!
For Vacation Packages, you may want to compare the pricing of a
Disneyland Resort Hotel Vacation Package, or a
Good Neighbor Hotel Vacation Package.
Good Neighbor Hotels are nearby Disney-approved hotels that typically cost less than the
Disneyland Resort Hotels, if you’re looking to save money. In addition, since it sounds like you’re traveling with a larger group, you may prefer to stay in a Good Neighbor Hotel like Staybridge Suites Anaheim Resort Area or Best Western Plus Raffles Inn & Suites, since both offer two-bedroom suites for up to eight people.
Have you also heard about the wonderful
ticket and
hotel discounts available to Military Service Members in 2020? The discounted
3-Day or 4-Day Military Promotional Park Hopper Tickets can be purchased on-base, or at a Disneyland Resort Main Entrance Ticket Booth. The Eligible Service Member or spouse would need to be present to both purchase these tickets and to use them. Eligible Service Members can purchase up to six of these tickets per year. 1-Day tickets are also available, and can be purchased on-base. The Eligible Service Member or spouse can purchase as many of these tickets as needed.
So, I recommend pricing out your options based on the time of year you plan to visit the Disneyland Resort. I hope you can find an option that works well for you and your group, Alyssa! Please stop by with any additional questions you may have… I’m all EARs!
