Hi Priscila,
As a single parent, I have frequently traveled alone to Walt Disney World with my two children and can definitely appreciate the struggles of wanting to accompany an older child on an attraction which is not yet suitable for the youngest member of the family.
Unfortunately, while there are no child care services available at the four Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks, there are some private childcare options which may be of assistance.
Walt Disney World In-Room Babysitting is available with Kid's Nite Out, an independent childcare provider which will send highly trained sitters to the comfort of your
Walt Disney World Resort hotel room. Rates are dependent on the number of children involved as well as the time of day and is offered for children aged 6 months up to 12 years old. In-Room Babysitting with Kids Nite Out can be booked in advance by calling (407) 828-0920.
Sitters with Kids Nite Out can also be booked for In-Park Assistance, accompanying you and your family to the Theme Parks. With this service, you and your 8 year old daughter would be able to ride attractions while your sitter stayed behind to look after your baby.
Should the need arise, please be sure to take advantage of any of the conveniently located
Baby Care Centers in all four Walt Disney World Theme Parks, which provide a comfortable place to nurse, feed and change your baby.
Priscila, I hope this information is helpful as you continue planning your trip. Should you have any other questions, please let us know. We are here to help and want you to have the best possible vacation with your children at Walt Disney World!
Trish
