how much travel time should i allow to get to parks from art of animation?

    Hi Mervat!

I adore the Art of Animation resort and am excited to return there myself soon.  The whimsical theming and fun Cast Members with their crazy puns make this Resort one of my family's favorites.

I like to allow 1 to 1.5 hours when traveling between a theme park and my Resort hotel.  The actual bus ride is only about 20 minutes depending upon traffic and which theme park you are going/coming from.  Buses usually depart every 15-20 minutes so there is always a bus on its way if you arrive to the depot and find an outgoing bus already full.

When I depart for advanced dining reservations I allow about 1.5 hours of travel time. This allows me plenty of time to get from one location to the next without feeling rushed.  However if I am going to a theme park for other reasons, such as park opening, I usually allow 1 hour of travel time.  Unless you are visiting during a particularly popular time such as the holidays you will do well to allow 1 to 1.5 hours for travel time from Art of Animation to and from the theme parks.

Have a MAGICAL vacation Mervat!  Oh, and be sure to put your head under the water in the Big Blue Pool.  It's Groovin' down there!

    Blessings,
    Brenda ºOº
