Bonnie from OH Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Do you have to have the Travel Protection plan to change dates on a booked cruise if something arises and can't go

Welcome to planDisney Bonnie!  Thank you for sailing by with your question.

You can modify your reservation by signing into the Disney Cruise Line website and accessing My Reservations under the Already Booked tab. You can change your sail date, edit your travel party, modify your stateroom, or cancel your reservation.  You do not need travel insurance to modify your reservation.

Making a change could result in additional fees or fare differences whether you have travel insurance or not, though.  If you have a policy, you will need to review it to determine the type of coverage you have because they differ.  If you have specific questions, I suggest you speak with your travel agent if you used one or contact Disney Cruise Line directly

Disney Cruise Line has so much to offer to Guests of all ages. From Broadway-style shows to youth activity spaces to adult-exclusive dining, a magical vacation onboard Disney Cruise Line is a great time.  If you have any other questions, sail back to planDisney.  We are happy to help.

    Adventure is out there!
