Can you still travel between parks after a certain time of day without a park hopper pass

    Hiya Sandra!

Welcome to planDisney! Your trip will be here before you know it and I am glad you are planning your day!

The only way to "hop" between Parks regardless of time in Walt Disney World Resort is to either have a Theme Park Ticket with the Park Hopper Option or be an Annual Passholder. Standard Theme Park Tickets allow guests to only visit one Park per day. As long as capacity allows you can leave and return to this one Park as many times as you want. If you do not have the Park Hopper Option added to your ticket or an Annual Pass you will not be able to enter another Theme Park.

I am not a person who likes to Park Hop as I enjoy roaming one Park fully each day. Taking complimentary Disney Resort transportation is fun but it can take some time. Along with going through security and being searched thoroughly due to my pesky sunglasses case, it is just something I want to avoid. However, I do enjoy leaving the Parks to visit a nearby Resort for a meal or to Disney Springs for shopping. I love how I do not need tickets to enjoy those areas and love just decompressing for a bit before returning.

I hope this helped and you have a fabulous time!

    Happy Planning!

Meet the Panelist: Nimmy, New York

Hey, it's Nimmy from New York! Just like my guy Jiminy Cricket I am your wisecracking and helpful guide to making the best decisions for your Disney vacation! My husband and I work very hard to journey to our favorite place on Earth, Walt Disney World Resort, as much as we can. We have traveled as just adults, with babies, kids, teenagers, and senior citizens. We have seen so many characters, eaten at amazing places, and consumed a ton of Dole Whips. So "give a little whistle" and let me be your guide! Learn More About Nimmy
