    Jennifer from CA Asked

I am a travel nurse currently on assignment in Ca. I am not a resident but have been and will be in the state for the foreseeable future. I would love to visit Disney while I’m here, is there away with hospital ID or my lease would I be allowed to visit?

    Hello, Jennifer!

Welcome to planDisney! We are THRILLED you stopped by, and we are so excited to help you plan your next MAGICAL vacation to the Disneyland Resort! Also, THANK YOU so much for what you do! First Responders are our TRUE HEROES!

Mickey Mouse and his pals are working really hard on the phased reopening of the Disneyland Resort! AND…I am very happy to inform you that Disneyland Theme Park Tickets and Disneyland Theme Park Reservations will be available on April 15! WOO HOO! As you know, only California residents will be allowed to visit the Disneyland Resort at this time to follow COVID-19 safety measures and keep guests safe during their TIGGER-ific visit.

Now, this is where your great question comes into play. All guests making a Disneyland Theme Park reservation will be required to make it through their My Disneyland Account, which is tied to their address. Also, when a guest makes a Disneyland Theme Park reservation, they will be required to certify that they are a California resident. These will be the two main ways to prove if a guest is a California resident. Since you are living in California, I would make sure the address on your My Disneyland account reflects where you are currently living. I also talked to a very helpful Cast Member, and she told me that a form of identification MAY be checked at the gate. My recommendation would be to bring your hospital ID and have ready to prove you currently live in California.

If you have other questions, please do not hesitate to ask! We are here to help in any way!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
