Hello, Renee! Welcome to planDisney. Thank you for sailing to us with your question.
I see it won't be long before you set sail for adventure with Captain Mickey and Captain Minnie! I'd love to help get your plans into shipshape before it is time to set off. When you
link your stateroom to another stateroom, it indicates to Disney Cruise Line that you will be traveling together and wish to dine together. It also allows you to make plans for the guests in the other stateroom. For example, if you were booking a reservation for the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, you would be able to select individuals from either stateroom to enjoy this activity. As each guest is listed separately, it will not duplicate reservations, you simply need to select each guest that would like to take part in the activity and make a booking for them.
We travel with friends and like to enjoy dining at
Palo together. It's helpful to have our staterooms linked in order to make one dining reservation for us all at once. When I make that reservation, I select each adult and choose a dining time.
Renee, if you are unable to make the reservation that you wanted for Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique (as it is so close to your sail date), please stop by the Boutique shortly after boarding. You will be able to inquire about any additional availability. The same goes for if you would like to make spa reservations or dine at Palo. You can check in on the day you board the ship to see if any additional reservations are open.
I hope that you and your sailing crew make cherished memories together. Have an amazing vacation!
