We want to travel to these hotels to see Christmas decorations: AK Lodge, Beach and Yacht Clubs, Swan, Dolphin, Boardwalk, Conteporary, G.F, Poly and Ft. Wilderness Lodge. What would be the best route (time wise) to take--starting at AK Lodge? THANKS!!!

    Hi Jennifer!

You are following my heart with your tour of the resorts; I think they are true treasures during the holidays at WDW!  Once you finish up at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, I'd head toward the Yacht/Beach Club resort.  If time is on your side, you may actually enjoy walking (or even renting a bicycle) around Crescent Lake to view the resorts since the Yacht/ Beach Club, Swan/Dolphin, and Boardwalk all border the lake.  I think it might be more simple than parking repeatedly, but you will need to do some extra walking.

From there, I'd head toward the Magic Kingdom for the first stop at the Wilderness Lodge.  You may then want to go to the Ticket and Transportation Center to park your car and hop on the monorail to visit the Polynesian, the Grand Floridian, and the Contemporary.  Again, just thinking it may be easier than parking three different times -- and this won't have as much walking!  I also really like riding the monorail (a little weird, huh?).  If you'd prefer to park at each of the resorts, I'd go to the Contemporary once you leave the Wilderness Lodge then work your way over to the Polynesian then the Grand Floridian.

Enjoy touring the resorts and have an incredible vacation!!
