As my travel gets closer, my questions get more specific. Are you up for the challenge? Should we go to AK in the morning on 13-May or 14-May? We can take advantage for EMH on 14-May, but I hear sometimes that means the park will be more crowded. thx

    Hi Kenyon!
Fire away...we're always ready for the challenge!!
I would go to Animal Kingdom on May 13th 100 times out of 100!! As a general rule, I always advise people to skip ANY park that is having EMH in the morning. The increased crowd levels typically erode any extra ride time that is expected due to arriving early. This is not an exact science, but in my experience, I have found going to NON EMH parks to be more of a benefit as to lower crowd levels and increased ride opportunities. Evening EMHs vary as to whether or not I am willing to go because they do tend to spread people out a bit more and are more worth the effort. However this is a moot point regarding AK as they no longer offer evening EMHs.
So, there's my take on EMHs. You need to decide how badly you or your family want to hit a particular EMH, and then decide accordingly. If it's morning, I say skip it...if it's evening, it might be worth a try.
I hope this helps and I wish you a Magical vacation this spring!! :)
