Ahoy there, Jillian! I see you’ll be setting sail this week, so I’m glad you thought to stop by planDisney to get your question answered.
I’m delighted to report that on Night 2 after your day in Nassau, you’ll be partying like a pirate with your fellow scalawags onboard. In addition to the
Pirate Night Deck Party, you can also expect to see fireworks in the sky (weather permitting, of course). Don’t feel any pressure to dress up, but many Guests choose to put on their finest pirate garb, and some may even visit the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for a pirate makeover.
Speaking of dressing up, it doesn’t look like there’s an optional formal night on this 3-Night Bahamian itinerary; nights 1 and 3 are considered “Cruise Casual”. That being said, feel free to dress like a princess for dinner one night if you’d like. Some nights we wear matching Disney t-shirts, while on other nights we coordinate fancier family outfits to take professional photos in front of one of the backdrops in the Grand Hall before eating.
You can always refer to this
packing list if you need additional help filling your suitcases before your trip. Just don’t forget to put important items like
travel documents and medications in your carry-on bag on embarkation day. I also like to throw in swimsuits and sunscreen so we can start swimming as soon as we step on the ship.
Enjoy every minute of your
Disney Wish sailing. And if you think of any other last-minute questions before you leave, I hope you’ll visit us here at
planDisney before you go!
Embrace the magic,
Sami
