    Hi. Can I travel by bus between the Beach Club Resort and Hollywood Studios, or is water transport the only option?

    Hi Nancy!  Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. 

    I was just visiting Disney's Beach Club Resort, eating at Cape May Cafe on Christmas Eve, before heading to Disney's Hollywood Studios.  I just assumed we would all hop on a bus after our meal and head over, but I was wrong.  To get to Disney's Hollywood Studios from the Beach Club, you can either take the water transportation, as you mentioned, or it is about a 20 minute walk.  If you do decide to walk, make sure to stop by the front desk for some directions before you leave, I actually got turned around and a 20 minute walk turned into  a 45 minute walk.  Yikes!  If you are trying to arrive at Disney's Hollywood Studios at a certain time, keep in mind that boats run about every 20-25 minutes.

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
