Want to travel from BCV to POR (9:30 reservation), then DTD and then to AK (for p.m. Wild Africa Trek). How would you suggest we travel via Disney transportation? Thanks for your help, as always!

Hi Karen! Wow, you've got a very busy evening itinerary planned for your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort!

To make it to your dinner reservation at Disney Port Orleans Resort you're best bet is going to be the bus, but you will have to give yourself enough time budgeted for travel - at least 45 minutes. From Disney's Beach Club Resort, you will need to catch a bus to any of the theme parks or Downtown Disney and then transfer on a bus to Disney's Port Orleans Resort.

While there are buses that will take you directly from Disney's Port Orleans to Downtown Disney I suggest you reorder your plans and head to Animal Kingdom park so you'll have enough time for your Wild Africa Trek. Given your late dinner reservation, you're going to be up against a very tight timeline so I don't think you'll have time to head to Downtown Disney before going to Animal Kingdom park.

Downtown Disney stays open until 2 a.m. so you'll have plenty of time to make your way there by bus after your Wild Africa Trek.

I hope this helps as you map out your transportation plan for your evening activities...it's going to be an adventure.

Wishing you a magical and memorable Disney vacation!
