How will we travel from Art of Animation to Downtown Disney ( House of Blues restaurant) and what times are transport & how long will it take? Thank you

    Hi Jeanie.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

Disney Transportation Buses run frequently (every 20 minutes or less) between Disney's Art of Animation Resort and the Downtown Disney Area. The trip itself takes about 15 minutes of travel time, not including time spent waiting for your bus to arrive. If you're going for an Advance Dining Reservation, be sure to allow a full 60 minutes of travel, wait & walking time in order to make it on time for your check-in at the restaurant.

Upon arrival at Downtown Disney, don't exit at The Marketplace stop or you'll have quite a long walk ahead of you! Instead, remain on board and exit at the second stop which is the West Side. After dining at House Of Blues, tour around the West Side on foot and even journey back towards The Marketplace on foot or by boat. There's so much to see - I'd highly recommend that you spend some time there. YOu can choose to board a bus to return to Art of Animation at the West Side or Marketplace bus stops.

Transportation to Downtown Disney begins at 8:30am and continues into the very late hours of the night.

If you have additional questions about your upcoming visit, please feel free to write me back Jeanie. I'd love to hear from you again.

Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World. Have a fabulous time at House of Blues and Downtown Disney!
