Travel agent booked our trip for June & we have a dining plan. Can I make dining reservations and then pay with dining credits when we arrive? What if it's a prepay reservation?

    Hi Lynn!

This is a great question.  You can make reservations up to 180 days in advance either online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE.  Since you are a Disney resort guest, staying in a Disney owned and operated hotel, when you are 180 days before check-in, you can also make dining reservations for the next 10 days.  In other words, you won't have to call back each day to make reservations exactly 180 days out from the day you want to dine, except for the first day.  It is a great perk for resort guests!

You will have to leave a credit card for some reservations, especially because some require upfront payment and some have a cancellation or "no show" fee.  Once you are at Walt Disney World and visiting the restaurant, you can use your Disney Dining Plan meal credits; any prepayments will be refunded to your card.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
