Greetings, Karin, and welcome to planDisney! It's a great idea to link hotel reservations and theme park tickets to your MyDisney account. I'm happy to show you how!
Start by logging into your account on the
Disneyland website. If you don’t have an account yet, you can create one. Once you’re logged in, hover over “My Disneyland” in the top menu and click on “
My Hotel Reservations.” This is where you can enter your confirmation number to link your stay. You can also manage your theme park tickets and park reservations from the "My Disneyland" dropdown. I recommend using the “My Plans” section from the same menu – it shows everything you’ve already linked and has an “Add More Plans” button to link or make reservations, like dining or extra experiences.
If you prefer to do this from your phone, I suggest using the
Disneyland mobile app. If you don't already have the app, download it and sign in to your MyDisney account. Then, tap the icon with the three horizontal lines (☰) and scroll down to "Hotel Reservations" to enter the information just like you would on the website. You can tap "My Tickets & Passes" to link your theme park tickets.
Karin, I do want to mention that the ability to link a hotel reservation may depend on where you are staying and how it was booked. You can link
Disneyland Resort hotel reservations, so if you are staying at the Disneyland Hotel, Pixar Place, or Grand Californian, you shouldn't have any trouble connecting them to your account. If you are staying at a
Good Neighbor Hotel, you may not be able to link the reservation unless it was booked as a
Good Neighbor Hotel Vacation Package.
Make sure you are all set up with the mobile app – it will be helpful at all stages of your trip! Use it before you arrive to easily manage theme park and dining reservations, and use the
Disney Genie service to create an itinerary based on your top interests. During your trip, the app is helpful for checking wait times, learning where and when to meet Characters, mobile ordering food, and more. And after your trip, access photos taken with the
Disney PhotoPass service. Here's a tip: you get free downloads of PhotoPass photos taken on days when you have a
Lightning Lane Multi Pass!
Karin, I hope you have a fantastic Halloween Time visit to the Disneyland Resort. If you think of any other questions, please let us know. We're always happy to help here at planDisney!
Wishing you magic with a dash of pumpkin spice,
Kriss
