Wendy from Victoria Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Our travel agent booked Disney Wonder cabin 7038. He assures us the Queen bed splits into twin beds. I'm not convinced. Everything I've seen says otherwise. 3 adults age 70s and 80s, none of us capable of climbing up to a top bunk. Please advise.

    Hello, Wendy!

I’m delighted you came to planDisney with your question as you prepare to sail with your nearest and dearest.

The Disney Wonder is the perfect-sized ship. What a great idea to select a stateroom midship near the elevators. You can easily grab breakfast two decks up, carry it back to your stateroom, and watch the sunrise. Sounds like a lovely morning to me!

Your stateroom will have one queen-sized bed that does not separate, a single convertible sofa, and a pull-down bed. I’m sorry, Wendy, that this was not the news you hoped to hear. You could always change to a Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom that sleeps five Guests. These are located on Deck 8. These rooms have an additional wall pull-down bed. This would give you three sleeping options that don’t involve a ladder. I hope your travel agent can help you find the best option for your travel party.

I know you'll find everything about your upcoming Disney Cruise refreshing! From well-appointed staterooms, Broadway-quality entertainment, festive deck parties, and delicious dining options, your Disney Cruise Line vacation will be filled with memorable moments. If you have any additional questions, please sail our way again!
