We are travailing with young children. Is there any penalty for not the entire reservation showing up for dinner? I am worried out littlest one won’t be able to hang even at a5:30-6pm reservation.

Hi Samantha! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I can't wait for you to experience a Walt Disney World Resort vacation with your little ones! There is nothing like watching your children meet their favorite Characters, see the entertaining shows, and ride the colorful attractions. As their faces display overwhelming joy, you'll find yourself smiling, too! Make sure to have your camera ready for these picture perfect moments.

You have done a great job of planning for this visit with your Table-Service dining reservations already in place! In my experience, there has not been a penalty for only part of our party going to the reservation. If possible, it is best to change the number of Guests on your reservation, so the restaurant can be better prepared for you (and possibly open up availability for another Guest!), but if you show up to check-in and one of the adults in your party has had to take your youngest back for some rest, you can still dine with the rest of the family. The only time you should be charged the cancellation fee in most cases is if you don't show up for the reservation at all or you cancel less than 1 day in advance.

I hope this helps, Samantha! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
