    Hi, is Trattoria al Forno closed from 10th June 2023 as there are no available booking times for the 11 days we are staying at the Boardwalk? If it is scheduled to close, or booked up as a block booking it would be helpful to know.

    Thanks for coming back to planDisney for some advice on your summertime visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! We’re honored that you found our guidance helpful in the past and have returned to inquire about the dining reservation availability at Trattoria al Forno for this June. I’m happy to help you understand what could be going on, and what to do next.

    This situation intrigued me, as I also see that Trattoria al Forno is showing only Breakfast beginning June 11, 2023 and then no availability for any party size that week. I continued to test this on both the United States (US) and United Kingdom (UK) Walt Disney World websites with the same results as you are seeing. I called Disney’s BoardWalk Inn and spoke with a delightful Cast Member who investigated further for us. She confirmed that there are no private events, special events, or refurbishments currently planned for this restaurant during that week that should be blocking the reservation calendar. Together we concluded that since dining reservations just opened for that week, it must be an error. We advise that you remain patient and check both the website and the My Disney Experience App again soon once the reservations become available to show Breakfast and Dinner options with the calendar widget (perhaps in another week or so, but please keep checking).

    Trattoria al Forno is a wonderful experience, no matter which meal you decide on. I love the fresh, authentic Italian approach to cooking that you can taste in every dish. It’s conveniently located on Disney's BoardWalk en route to EPCOT or returning home to Disney’s BoardWalk Inn after any theme park day, so I understand wanting to secure a reservation while you’re staying at this resort. In my experience, this restaurant is not among the most difficult to get a table for during your special vacation so something should open up. Please have some faith and trust, and I’m wishing you extra pixie dust that the site will display lots of availability for you soon!
