Will there be transportation from the Ft. Wilderness Cabins to the races for 2025 Marathon Weekend?

    Howdy, Andrea!

Welcome back to planDisney, and thanks so much for sending another fantastic question our way. I'm especially excited to chat with a fellow runDisney enthusiast. I absolutely adore participating in runDisney events; there is truly nothing else like them! Let's talk about race day transportation from your resort.

You'll be happy to know that runDisney race weekend transportation is available to and from all Walt Disney World Resort Hotels, including The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. Buses will whisk you away to the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo and all running events. Most likely, you'll have to catch your bus at the Outpost Depot near the main entrance to the resort, so check with the front desk about the internal bus schedule. I always stay at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa for Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend. If my villa isn't located close to the main bus stop (the only bus stop used for runDisney transportation), I get dropped off at the lobby by a non-running family member.

I hope this is helpful! The peaceful surroundings of Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort make it a perfect spot to recharge before and after your races. And if you need to soothe tired muscles, both the Meadow Swimmin' Pool and the Wilderness Swimmin' Pool feature whirlpool spas!

Thanks again for reaching out to planDisney. Wishing you a magical training season and an unforgettable race weekend!

    See ya real soon,
    Betsy
