Hi! What is the transportation time between the parks when trying to estimate how much time to leave for a dinner reservation?

    Hello there Mary!

Transportation is a little quicker between the parks than from your resort to the parks. That's not to say that it is very quick... I typically try to leave a park a minimum of an hour and a half prior to any reservation. It shouldn't take that long but, you just never know. You have to remember that you have to wait for the bus or monorail to arrive and depending on the time of day, it could take longer or shorter than 20 minutes. Next, you have to factor in driving time which if you are at Animal Kingdom heading to Magic Kingdom could take around twenty minutes. And finally, you have to walk into the park, which could be another twenty to thirty minutes depending on bag check and where your reservation is. So, you are already looking at over an hour between leaving the park and arriving at your dinning destination. It's better to be early, calm, and cool than rushing through a crowded Main Street USA heading to the Crystal Palace... Thanks so much for asking the Moms Panel! I hope you have a Magical Time at the Walt Disney World Resort! If you have more questions, we are always here to help!
