What is the Transportation and Ticket Center?

Hey Denise, thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

This is a great question that doesn't get talked about a lot. The Transportation and Ticket Center, or TTC as it is commonly referred to, is basically the central transportation hub for Walt Disney World and a place where you can purchase Disney Theme Park Tickets. From this area, Guests can easily get to Magic Kingdom Park and Epcot. You'll find self-parking, taxi drop offs, boats, buses and monorails here. Guests who typically would visit the Transportation and Ticket Center would be those that drive themselves to Magic Kingdom Park. This area serves as the self-parking lot and Guests parking here will then board a monorail or a boat to get to Magic Kingdom Park. Another way you might get to experience the TTC is if you are hopping between Magic Kingdom Park and Epcot via the monorail system. This is where you would change monorail lines between each of the theme parks.  In this area you'll also find a few ATM's, restrooms and a small snack bar. Nothing too exciting happens in this area except for getting people to where they need to go which makes it a pretty important place!

I hope this helps. If you have any other questions, please come back and ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
