Hi Renee! Welcome to planDisney!
Before you know it, you will be taking off on your fabulous
Walt Disney World Resort Vacation. There is so much magic waiting for you, so I just know you're going to have a blast, especially since you will be staying at
Disney's All-Star Music Resort! Did you know that the entire resort has been recently refurbished? While I haven't had a chance to stay here since the renovation, the rooms look absolutely fantastic! One of my favorite details from these refreshed rooms are the platform beds that provide plenty of room underneath to store your luggage. I know this may sound like a small detail, but it makes such a difference to have a place to tuck away those bulky suitcases so they're not in the way! They really do think of everything at Walt Disney World, don't they?
Another fabulous part of staying as a Guest of Disney's All-Star Music Resort is the complimentary transportation around Walt Disney World. So, to answer your question, Renee, I am happy to confirm that there is
free bus service from your resort to the
theme parks. Bus service begins 45 minutes before park opening and ends one hour after the parks close. The bus stop at Disney's All-Star Music Resort is conveniently located right outside the main entrance of Melody hall. After you've enjoyed a day of fun in the parks, simply follow the signs to the resort buses located through the exit for the park, and find your gate number from the bus directory sign. You can also ask a friendly Cast Member to point you in the right direction to get you back home to Disney's All-Star Music Resort.
Renee, I am just so excited for you to visit Walt Disney World. You've got such an incredible adventure ahead of you, especially since you will be visiting during
The Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration! Of course, with so much going on, you're bound to have some questions as you continue planning your vacation, so please visit us again soon if there is anything else we can help you with!
Have a magical day!
Diana
