Hi, Sarah!
Welcome aboard
Disney Cruise Line! You are in for such a magical sailing. From the first grand welcome as you board your ship until the final farewell on your debarkation day, your cruise is going to jam packed with activities, shows, games, dining, and plenty of pixie dust! Make sure to have the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App downloaded on your phone so you don't miss any of the fun that Captain Mickey has planned for your voyage.
Disney Cruise Line offers
ground transportation pre- and post-cruise to/from Disney Resort Collection hotels, or the Orlando International Airport. You will need to make your own arrangements for any other locations. Options include rental cars, ride shares, car services, or private shuttles. Take a look at few options online and see what the best option will be for your family. My family often finds a rental car to be the most convenient as we can stay on our own schedule and not be time restricted. Consider timing, pricing, and convenience when deciding on your transportation.
Once you arrive at the cruise terminal in
Port Canaveral, you will want to be ready for check-in and boarding. Have your luggage tagged with room tags (sent out prior to your cruise but extras available if needed), passports ready, and your Port Arrival Form either on your phone or printed out. Have a carry-on bag with everything you will need for the first few hours of your cruise as your checked luggage will not be delivered to your room until later in the afternoon (this includes medication, phones and chargers, and passports).
Sarah, I hope you find the perfect transportation for your magical cruise. Wishing you sunny skies and calm waters and plenty of Mickey Mouse Ice Cream Bars for dessert each night! Bon Voyage!
Cathy
