Ahoy there, Laura!
Welcome aboard planDisney! It sounds like you’re getting ready for a
land-and-sea adventure that even Captain Minnie would tip her hat to! I love that you’re planning ahead for your journey from your Walt Disney World Resort hotel to Port Canaveral—it’s one of the best ways to keep your vacation smooth sailing from start to finish.
Booking
Disney’s ground transportation is one of those magical touches that makes traveling from castle to coastline a breeze. Currently, the cost for Disney's motorcoach transportation is $45 per person each way (or $90 round-trip) for Guests ages 3 and older. That covers travel from your Walt Disney World Resort hotel to the port and from the ship back to Orlando International Airport. Once you’re ready to book, you can
call Disney Cruise Line directly, and a friendly Cast Member will help make sure your reservation is all set.
What I love most about Disney’s transportation is that it
truly feels like part of the vacation. The motorcoach is air-conditioned, comfy, and often plays fun Disney videos during the drive—talk about setting the tone for adventure! You’ll want to keep an eye on your email a few days before your sailing for specific pick-up times and meeting locations at your resort. Depending on where you’re staying, the bus might make a stop or two to pick up other Guests before heading east toward the coast.
On disembarkation day, the magic doesn’t stop once you step off the ship! If you’re heading back to the airport via Disney transportation, you’ll receive instructions near the end of your cruise from Guest Services detailing what time and where to meet your motorcoach. It’s one of the easiest and most stress-free ways to wrap up your vacation—no navigating traffic, just pure Disney efficiency from ship to sky.
I hope this helps you plan your pre- and post-cruise travel with ease. Disney’s ground transfers make the transition from the parks to the port as smooth as Olaf on freshly fallen snow!
Sea ya real soon with boo-tiful nights and frightfully fun days,
Dustin
