Fore! Welcome to planDisney, Landon, where we tee up answers to all your Disney vacation planning questions. I positively adore mini golf, and I am quite the competitor on the putting green. You're going to have a wonderful time mini golfing on your vacation, and I'm ready to provide instructions on how to get from your resort to the mini golf locations at Walt Disney World.
Let me start by saying there is no direct complimentary transportation between Disney Resort hotels and the two mini golf locations, so you will need to do a bit of walking in order to get to the courses after riding a bus, boat, or the Skyliner. You can always purchase a ride via a ride share service or take a
Minnie Van for the most direct route.
Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf is located near the Crescent Lake resorts and the International Gateway entrance to EPCOT. If you are staying at the Swan, Dolphin, Yacht Club, Beach Club, or Boardwalk resorts, you can take a short walk to the course from your hotel. The "Get Directions" feature in the
My Disney Experience app estimates that the walk from the International Gateway
Skyliner station to the course is about 20 minutes, or just under one mile. If it's a hot day or the walk isn't feasible, you can take a
FriendShip Boat to the Swan dock, then walk about 6 minutes to the course. If you are coming from a different resort, you can take the Skyliner (if available) to the International Gateway, or a bus to Hollywood Studios, then a FriendShip Boat to the Swan.
A trip to
Winter Summerland Miniature Golf is easy, too. This course is adjacent to
Blizzard Beach, so hop on a bus from your resort to the water park, if available. When you arrive and exit the bus, walk up the path toward the water park entrance. You will pass the water park entrance on your left, and there will be a sign for Winter Summerland directly ahead of you. Keep following the path straight to the entrance of the mini golf course.
Walk ups are welcome at both of these locations, or you can book a tee time 60 days in advance by calling the number listed on each course website.
Thanks again for bringing your question to us, Landon! I hope you'll find that solid advice and reliable tips are par for the course here at planDisney.
Stay magical,
Scott
