I have 2 transportation questions. What is the best way to get from port orleans riverside to the beach club resort & also from port orleans to the Polynesian ? Thank you

    Hi Ann,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside is a beautiful resort and I love strolling its walkways winding along the Sassagoula River.

You have a few options to travel over to Disney's Beach Club Resort. One option is to take Walt Disney World Bus Service to Disney's Hollywood Studios and then take a Friendship Boat to the resort. From Disney's Hollywood Studios, you can also walk along the water path toward Disney's BoardWalk, and from there you can continue to walk around to the resort or take a water taxi across Crescent Lake.

Traveling to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, you can take a bus to Magic Kingdom and from there you can take the Resort Monorail or water taxi to the resort.

Both Disney's BoardWalk area and Disney's Polynesian Village Resort are beautiful places to explore with plentiful dining and entertainment options.

I always suggest checking with a Cast Member at your resort to get any up-to-date information on travel options during your stay. I also highly recommend the My Disney Experience mobile app for its great Get Directions feature as well as its overall features for planning and managing your Walt Disney World vacation.

    Enjoy your Disney!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
