Hello, Jennifer and welcome to planDisney!
Jennifer, one of the reasons my family and I love visiting the Walt Disney World Resort year after yEAR is because we can put our car keys away and let Mickey Mouse take care of transportation! Now, let's talk about a strategy to make certain you arrive in plenty of time for your 8:25 AM reservation at
Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Jennifer, you correct that
bus service is scheduled to begin approximately 45 minutes before park opening, however sometimes you'll find Tinker Bell cheerful and sprinkling pixie dust that will help a bus roll up a few minutes early. When my family and I have an early reservation like breakfast with our favorite characters at
Hollywood & Vine, I will often make sure my entire party is at the bus stop well in advance so that we can be first to board. In your case, I would recommend arriving at your bus stop at approximately 7:30 AM (
knowing that you'll likely be waiting) so that you can be on the first bus of the day to Disney's Hollywood Studios. Jennifer, while I can NOT guarantee this, I have also noticed that for parks offering reservations before the posted opening time, you're more likely to see buses pulling up prior to that first scheduled run.
Now, Jennifer, another option (
for a fee) would be to use a rideshare service like Lyft or Uber to the park. If you choose this method, I would still recommend an early ride so that you have plenty of time to make your way to your destination.
Whichever method you choose, I hope you have a morning full of
blue skies & sunshine! Jennifer, make sure you have your confirmed reservation easy to retrieve on your smartphone or printed out to show the Cast Member when you arrive at Disney's Hollywood Studios so that you're able to access the park early.
Best wishes for a grand start to your day and please come on back to planDisney with any additional questions!
