    Another transportation question....I've heard it will take more than an hour to get to HDDR via bus, wondering if it would be faster/easier (?) to take a bus to the MK & then take the boat to Fort Wilderness? Doesn't the boat drop you super close?

    Hi Mindy,

     While the boat from Magic Kingdom to the Ft. Wilderness Camp and Resort does drop you off close to the Pioneer Hall, you should know that transportation from your resort to Magic Kingdom, and then to Ft. Wilderness, may well take about an hour or so, too. Depending on the time it takes for the bus to get to your resort, you may be waiting up to 20 minutes. The same can be said for the boat from Magic Kingdom to Ft. Wilderness. Then you have to take into consideration travel time, too.

     I like that transportation around Walt Disney World is provided for free and relatively easy to use, but it isn't the fastest option in some cases, especially when traveling from resort to resort for dining reservations. If you are visiting Magic Kingdom the day of your Hoop Dee Doo Revue reservation, than it will be even more convenient for you. Otherwise, plan on leaving with enough time in advance of your reservation.
