We have transportation from Port Orleans to Port Canaveral to get on the Disney Wish in April. Do you have any idea what time the Disney transportation schedule runs from this resort? We are hoping to get on the ship early. We have a 11:15 boarding time.

Well ahoy there Kelly and wishing you a hearty sailor's welcome back to planDisney!

It looks like you've developed a bit of a taste for the salty sea air and the motion of the ocean, ready to take on your next adventure on board the Disney Wish! I actually just came off of the newest leading lady of the fleet recently alongside members of my travel party who also had an early boarding time, and took the Ground Transportation available as part of their Land and Sea package.

While routes and scheduled arrival times may vary and are subject to change without prior notice, their scheduled meeting time was at 7:30 a.m. EST at Disney's Polynesian Resort and departed just after 8:00 a.m. EST. Their total trip time aboard their motor coach was over two hours due to the need for it to make several stops along the way to pick up fellow seafaring guests. In their experience, the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels located in the Disney Springs Resort Area were among the last to be picked up on their particular route, closer to 9:00 a.m. in their best estimate. I spoke with a Disney Cruise Line Cast Member who cautioned that scheduled pick-up times may vary from week to week and that they take into consideration the early Port Arrival Times for guests boarding earlier, like those with special Castaway Club and/or Concierge benefits. (If you're spending some time with a Walt Disney World Resort stay prior to sailing, I always recommend asking the friendly Front Desk or Bell Services Cast Members who frequently see the Disney Cruise Line buses pulling up whether they have an idea of when it'll most likely turn up on your Embarkation Day so that you can plan ahead!)

Keep in mind that the journey to Port Canaveral can take upwards of 90 minutes by motor coach, and that boarding times are always also subject to change - so be sure to pack an extra pinch of pixie dust to convey you to your destination faster, and perhaps a bit of patience in case it doesn't! We're always happy to have you back at planDisney, please feel free to ask me any more questions you may have ahead of your next voyage and be sure to get in touch with Tracie and Adrianna who are our very own Disney Cruise Line Specialists at sea!

Wishing you the best on your early-morning quest; your adventure is out there!
