    Transportation from port orleans French quarter to downtown Disney

    Hey Sharon!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thank you for sending us your great question about Walt Disney World Resort transportation options.

    Sharon, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter is one of my favorite Disney Resort hotels. One of the reasons that I love it so much is its proximity to Disney Springs and its awesome transportation options! In fact, when I decide to stay at a Moderate Resort hotel, I always choose to stay at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter or Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - Riverside for these very reasons.

    One of the most scenic and relaxing boat rides in Walt Disney World is the one from Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter to Disney Springs. The two easiest ways of traveling from Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter to Disney Springs are the following:

    - Take a boat traveling the Sassagoula River directly to Disney Springs
    - Take a bus directly to Disney Springs

    Sharon, another reason I love staying at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter can only be described as mouth-watering, delicious, soft, fluffy pillows sent directly from the Mardi Gras heavens — French Beignets from Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory. Please try these if you visit Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter. I must warn you — you may never want to stay anywhere else!
