Transportation from Port Orlean's french quarter to character breakfasts. How long to Chef Mickey's and Tuskers?

Hello and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I must admit that there is nothing better than dining with some of your Disney favorites.  As if the great food wasn't enough, the characters just add that touch of MAGIC.  Character dining experiences are a must for my family with every Walt Disney World vacation.  You happened to mention two of my favorites places to dine.  Chef Mickey's and Tusker House offer a variety of food for any palate and, of course, Mickey and friends always put the finishing touch on a great dining experience.  The good news is that buses run approximately every 20 minutes from your resort the the Disney Theme Parks.  Getting to Tusker House is the easiest as you will just need to arrive at Disney's Animal Kingdom and make your way through the park. To get to Chef Mickey's,  you will simply take a bus which heads to the Magic Kingdom.  Once you arrive, you can either walk to Disney's Contemporary Resort which will take approximately 10 minutes or you may use the monorail.

Diane's Tip of the Day:  If you are looking for another great character dining experience, The Crystal Palace, located inside the Magic Kingdom, is a great way to meet up with Winnie the Pooh and friends. Their all-you-care-to-eat buffet is delicious!

Have a MAGICAL day and "SEE YOU REAL SOON!"
