Hi Joseph! Welcome to planDisney! I’m so glad you stopped by with your question. When I land at Orlando International Airport (MCO), I want to get to the Walt Disney World Resort as quickly as I can and let the magic begin!
It sounds like you have a fun group vacation coming up soon! While you have
a few transportation options available to you, the easiest and most economical is probably going to be Mears Connect. They offer motor coach service from the airport to all Walt Disney World hotels. One nice benefit of this service is that, if you have any younger children in your party, you will not need to travel with car seats. As a mom who traveled often with my kids when they were little, any opportunity to minimize the gear I need to haul with me is a bonus! I have found Mears to be a reliable and comfortable option to get my resort hotel. The one downside is that they will transport passengers on your bus who will be dropped off at multiple different hotels. If you are one of the later drop off points, your journey may be a little longer. Your other options will get you there a little faster but will cost more. The first option is to get a couple of cars with a rideshare service, such a Lyft. You can also book a shuttle service with a local company. Both of these will require bringing your own car seats if you have little ones in tow. Mears is likely going to be your easiest option and may even save you a little money.
As a bonus tip, if you plan to eat at the
End Zone Food Court while you are staying at
Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort, consider
mobile ordering. The food court tends to get really busy, especially at breakfast, so mobile ordering can save you time and get you to the theme parks faster.
Joseph, I hope this helps get your game plan in motion for transportation to Disney’s All-Star Sports! If you have any more questions, be sure to
send them my way. I am happy to help make your trip a total home run!
Sending pixie dust,
Casey
