Welcome back, Allie!
Thanks for bringing another great question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I can't wait for your seaside-themed stay at
Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel. This hotel also features the only rooftop pool and slide at a Disneyland Resort Hotel. I recently stayed at this hotel and just loved the beachy decor and proximity to the Downtown Disney District. There are a couple of ways you can get to the entrance of the parks from this hotel, but we found walking to be the most convenient. Just head through the back of the hotel down the main entrance and take a right down the walkway that will lead you towards the
Downtown Disney District. Here you will enter a security checkpoint where your bags will be checked. If you don't stop at any of the great shops or eateries in the Downtown Disney District, this walk will take about 15 minutes. Alternatively you can take the
Disneyland Monorail from the Downtown Disney District across from The LEGO Store. You will need valid park admission if you choose to take the Disneyland Monorail as it will drop you off right in the middle of the park in Tomorrowland.
Before you leave, make sure you are familiar with some of the
many benefits of staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel. You don't want to miss a single morning of Extra Magic Hours or pass up some of the fun activities like Attraction Trivia or the Get Up & Go Power Walk through Disney California Adventure Park.
I hope this helps, and I can't wait for your magical vacation!
