do you have transportation from orlando airport to resorts

Howdy Roger - welcome back to planDisney!

I'm so excited for you to experience the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration in just a few weeks! There are so many new and unique things to do, see, eat, and experience - get ready for Disney magic like you've never seen before!

Currently, there isn't a preferred method of transportation between the Orlando airport and Walt Disney World Resort. Don't fret though! There are plenty of options for you to consider, and I'm sure one will be perfect for your crew's needs.

Depending on the type of vacation package you are booking (or have already booked) through the Walt Disney Travel Company, you may be able to add on private round-trip ground transportation. This is a newer option and is subject to change, but I was just given the option when I created a test vacation package. After selecting my Disney Resort Collection hotel and theme park tickets, there was a button to Add Ground (transportation) - either a rental car or private shuttle and limo services offered by Mears. In my past experience, it is not always possible to modify an existing vacation package to add something like this, so I would suggest you contact a Reservations Cast Member to discuss these options.

Ride-sharing services such as Lyft are usually my preferred option when I'm not renting a car. They tend to offer various sizes of vehicles and levels of service, so depending on your needs (e.g., car seats) and the size of your crew, you might find an easy solution here. There are also many private car services, and depending on the time of day, pricing can even be competitive with the regular old ride-sharing services! Plus, what better way to start feeling like a prince or princess than by having a private chauffeur?!

Mears, the company that formally managed Disney's Magical Express service also offer a similar motorcoach service called Mears Connect, and The Sunshine Flyer is another similar motorcoach service you may want to look in to. These options would both be independent of your Walt Disney World vacation package.

However you get there, I know you'll have a magical visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth! Please let me know if there is anything else we can help with.
