Hey there, hi there, ho there, James!
Thanks for stopping by with a phenomenal
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney!
Oh boy... you'll be arriving at The Most Magical Place on Earth in just a couple of days. There's no time to waste, James! Let's chat about the available airport transfer options to get you to the magic as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Guests traveling from Orlando International Airport. However, several great
third-party options exist, and I’m happy to share my personal experiences with these services in order to help you make an informed decision on what’s best for you! Currently, Guests can utilize Mears Connect shuttle service for affordably-priced transportation between Orlando International Airport and the
Disney Resort hotels. Both standard and express services are offered, with the express service providing faster, non-stop service directly to your Disney Resort hotel. With the standard option, your shuttle may make stops at several other Disney Resort hotels before arriving at your stop. My family has used this service many times over the years and we’ve been happy with this option.
Another option available to you is to utilize a rideshare service, like Lyft or Uber, for transportation from Orlando International Airport to your Disney Resort hotel. While this option typically costs slightly more than Mears Connect, I’ve found it to be quicker and more direct, overall. I typically choose this option when I’m traveling alone or with a small group of adults, or when I have a jam-packed itinerary on my arrival day and have no time to waste! Of course, you could always rent a vehicle as well.
James, once you arrive on-site at
Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort, you’ll be looped into the Walt Disney World Resort transportation network. From there, you’ll be able to rely on complimentary transportation options to and from the theme parks and
Disney Springs. From your Resort hotel, you’ll enjoy complimentary bus transportation to all of these destinations, but you’ll also find watercraft, Monorail, and
Disney Skyliner transportation available for use at other locations!
I hope you’ve found this information helpful as you count down the last few hours before your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation. If you have any additional questions before or during your trip, you can always stop back by
planDisney for help. We’re all ears!
See ya real soon,
Lauren
