What transportation options are there for travelling between resorts? Are there cabs readily available? Specifically we are staying at the Port Orleans FQ and will need to get to the Beach Club and Grand Floridian for meals.

    Hi Valerie!

Cabs may not be readily available at the resort all the time, but the Concierge Desk can call a cab on your behalf, and the taxi service will usually be there for you within minutes. That's one thing that the Disney area usually has in abundance: taxi-cabs.

Now, this may take a little longer, but you can also use the Disney bus service to get to any of the resorts. As The Disney Port Orleans-French Quarter resort is in the Downtown Disney area district, you could catch the bus to Downtown Disney, then at the bus pickup station, connect to one of the departing buses to the resort of your preference. Again, this may take a little longer, and you may have to leave your resort earlier (as you'll have to wait for the Beach Club or Grand Floridian bus to arrive), but at least it'll save you a few extra dollars.

Good Luck! Hope it all works out for you...
