Hi Bernard!
Welcome to planDisney!
I am very happy to see that you are making plans for your next visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth! You will love staying at
The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. It is a beautiful Resort, and those views over Seven Seas Lagoon are stunning. As there is no direct transport between Disney Resort hotels, I would take the monorail from your hotel to Magic Kingdom Park - it's just one stop along the line - and then transfer to a bus for Disney's Riviera Resort. This gorgeous new Resort is on the
Disney Skyliner route so you could enjoy taking a relaxing ride on a gondola to Disney's Hollywood Studios or EPCOT and then transfer to a bus to return to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
Transportation is operating with physical distancing measures in place, including in the load zones, queues and onboard buses and monorails with partitions inside the vehicles. The Disney Skyliner is loading one party per gondola.
During the phased re-opening of Walt Disney World, we may need a little more considered and careful planning, but our vacations to Walt Disney World Resort can still be a magical experience. Please read this information about
Returning to a World of Magic, and
Disney Resort Hotels: Know Before You Go, and keep your eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for all the latest official updates as they are announced.
We know you have many questions about what this all means for your upcoming visit. Please know we are working to be able to answer your questions as quickly as possible, and we look forward to providing an update as soon as we have more information to share. Come back and ask as many questions as you like! We are always happy to help you plan your vacation.
