Well hello there Bruce, I'd like to welcome you aboard planDisney!
I recently debarked from the
Disney Wish yesterday and as someone who prefers neither to drive nor park a vehicle while we set sail on a cruise, we chose to take advantage of the
Ground Transportation options that were available to us for this particular journey and found it to be such an incredibly seamless experience from start to finish for us!
At the present time it appears that Disney Cruise Line may not provide bookable transportation service to accommodations that are not
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels; your best bet is to
inquire with a Cast Member directly over the phone about bookable transportation options, or
Pre- and Post-Cruise Hotel Stays at partnering properties like the Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanfront located near
Port Canaveral that is currently featured on the Disney Cruise Line website.
Whenever people I know have stayed at accommodations closer to Cape Canaveral itself, they've found it reasonable to aim for locations that offer shuttle service to and from Orlando International Airport - MCO. (I personally choose to take advantage of scheduling rides through an App instead as the most reliable option, especially if I can select a vehicle capable of carrying the number of luggage we may have on any given trip!)
This December, I hope that you get a chance to enjoy all of the joy that is a
Very Merrytime Cruise - especially with the exclusive entertainment and experiences on board at this time of the year! Don't hesitate to
come back to planDisney again in the future for any more advice before you head off on your next Disney Cruise Line voyage.
Wishing you all the best on your journey as you fly, ride and set sail on the sea!
Prince
