Ahoy, Steve!
Welcome aboard planDisney! With your Disney cruise adventure on the horizon, now’s the perfect time to start thinking through all those post-cruise logistics—so let’s chart the course for a smooth return!
Disney Cruise Line does offer
ground transportation from Port Everglades to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. Currently, you can book a one-way transfer for $29 per Guest ages 3 and up, and the tiniest sailors under 3 ride free (though they may need to sit on a lap due to limited seating). If you haven’t already reserved your ground transfer, you can do so by
calling Disney Cruise Line.
You also have the option to use a taxi or a rideshare service. Just keep in mind that debarkation morning can be a little hoppin’ like the House of Mouse, and you might run into longer wait times or surge pricing depending on when you disembark and how many fellow cruisers are calling for rides at the same time.
Here's a helpful tip for debarkation day: I like to stop by
Cabanas for one last breakfast before we disembark. It’s the perfect chance to grab a Mickey waffle, soak in that ocean view one more time, and relive the magical memories from your voyage. Breakfast is generally served until about 8:00 AM, but be sure to check your Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once onboard for actual hours of operation!
I hope this helps you map out the final leg of your vacation with a little extra ease and a whole lot of magic. Wishing you smooth travels, short security lines, and maybe even one last sprinkle of pixie dust along the way!
Sea ya real soon with a July full of fireworks at sea and memories that sparkle like pixie dust,
Dustin
