Welcome to planDisney, Carla! We are happier than Merida galloping through the forest to have you hEAR planning a trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth!
Carla, while there is not official transportation provided by Disney from the airport to the
Disney Resort Hotels or parks, let me share a few of the options that my family and friends have used. To learn more about these options, simply do a quick internet search:
-
Mears connect: this company previously partnered with Disney when the Magical Express was still in operation. You'll find a few options for a fee that includes a larger bus with multiple stops or a van to your resort.
-
Sunshine Flyer: similar to the bus described above, you can book (for a fee) service to your Disney Resort hotel.
-
Rideshares like Lyft or Uber: if you're traveling without little ones who need a car seat, I have found this to be a quick and easy option (for a fee)
-
Airport car rental: if you like to be "under your own power" the car rental choices (for a fee) located at the airport have been seamless for my family and with the
recent announcement about complimentary self-parking when staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, this might be a more appealing option.
Carla, I hope this information is helpful as you continue to plan. Once you are onsite at the Walt Disney World Resort, you'll find a number of
complimentary resort transportation options from buses to the Disney Skyliner and water taxis (my favorite)!
Now, since it sounds like you are still making plans, check out the current
Special Offers in case your dates are flexible to take advantage of the
Disney Dining Promo Card or another room discount.
Wishing you a trip full of Magic and smiles. If you have any additional questions, please come on back to planDisney where we are always hEAR to help!
