We plan a magical adventure, we drive to the airport, we have our Mickey ears in place and our MagicBand secured! Now we land in Orlando, what do we do?
Elizabeth, to get you to your magical adventure from Orlando International Airport (MCO) you have a couple of options. One would be a ride share service that would take you directly from the airport to your Disney resort. The ride share pick-up spot at the airport is conveniently located just outside the baggage claim area, and there are many signs pointing out the way. You can download one of the ride share apps before your trip and make the reservation before you leave so that the driver knows when your flight will arrive. This option is a bit more of a budget buster than the next option.
The second option is a shuttle service which you would be able to find with a quick internet search. You can also make reservations online for the shuttle, and you can make round trip reservations as well if you want to take care of your departure date at that time. The shuttle services utilize a bus that normally stops at multiple Disney resorts, and they do wait to fill up at the airport, so there is a bit of waiting time involved. The cost is a bit less than the ride share, but the time involved could be longer based on the amount of stops and the amount of people waiting to use the shuttle.
There is also the
Minnie Van airport service for Guests staying at Disney Deluxe Resort hotels, Disney Deluxe Viall Resort hotels and Club Level rooms. You can book this pixie dust service beginning 60 days in advance of your visits up to two days before your visit to the magic!
Elizabeth, you could also choose to rent a vehicle at MCO. There are numerous rental car agencies at the airport to assist you if that is an option.
If you are flying into Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB), your choices would be the ride share services, private car companies and rental car options.
