Transportation help please! Staying at WL. Have and 8:50am appointment at BBB one day (MK opens at 9am). Another day we have breakfast at Akershus at 8:20am. For each of these, what's the best way to get there and when should we leave WL? Thanks!

    Hi Kara,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. We're more than happy to help!

I absolutely love Disney's Wilderness Lodge and know that you are going to enjoy staying there! It is conveniently located near Magic Kingdom park and is just a short ride away. My family loves taking the boat if the weather is nice, but you can also get there by bus too. If you allow yourself one hour to get to Magic Kingdom, I think you'll have plenty of time to get to your appointment at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. Since the park will not be open when you arrive, just look for a Cast Member to point you in the direction of the entrance for Guests with early reservations. Be sure to save a few minutes for some pictures on Main Street, U.S.A. since it will be practically deserted!

For your breakfast reservation at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, you'll need to take the bus to Epcot from Wilderness Lodge. Once you arrive at Epcot, there will be a bit of a walk to the Norway Pavilion, so I would allow yourself at least an hour and a half to get there. Since I'm not sure about the opening time for that particular day, I would recommend asking the front desk what time you can expect the buses to start running to Epcot. They will be able to tell you based on the opening time for Epcot on that particular day.

I hope this helps you navigate your way around Walt Disney World Resort on your upcoming vacation. If you have any other questions, just stop back by. I hope you make some magical memories with your family!
