Hey Howdy Hey Deborah and welcome back to planDisney!

Resort Transportation is such a huge benefit when staying onsite for your vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort. There are so many forms of transportation that it is fun to spend time enjoying them as well as the destinations they travel to. Thank you for your question on specifics when it comes to Resort Transportation to and from
Disney's Boardwalk Inn. I will be happy to give you more information.
You can expect bus transportation from Boardwalk to Magic Kingdom or Disney's Animal Kingdom. EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios are accessible via boat or a leisurely stroll. The walk from Boardwalk to either EPCOT or Hollywood Studios is very nice and relaxing and the scenery along the way makes the walk worth the trip! Considering the parks are so close to the resort, the walk to EPCOT from the Boardwalk may take 10-20 minutes and to Hollywood Studios maybe 15-20 minutes. We were able to do this recently and our 2 girls, under the age of 12, were able to complete the walk without issues. One other option you might consider for traveling to Hollywood Studios is the
Disney Skyliner. You can soar high in the sky on your way to Hollywood Studios which is a fun and unique way to see the resort from all new heights!
From the Boardwalk, there will not be direct bus transportation to the water parks, you will have to catch a connecting bus. As of this writing,
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is the only water park that is open. You can catch a bus from your resort to Disney Springs where you will find a direct shuttle to Typhoon Lagoon. It is a quick trip and should not be an issue at all when making the transfer.
While bus transportation is super convenient, there are times throughout the resort when trips are made to multiple hotels as long as they are really close. Boardwalk is super close to Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts and you may find that the bus will stop at these resorts on their way to and from locations. You will find a similar situation with transportation by boat as well. It really can help out if you want to visit the
Beaches & Cream Soda Shop at the Beach Club for a meal or to visit the take-out window for many of the ice cream options available.
I hope this information answers all of your questions about your options for getting to the parks for your upcoming vacation. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach back out and let us know, we are always happy to help!
Have a Magical day,
Nick
