    What transportation is best to get to Hollywood studios 2 hours early to guarantee a boarding pass? what time does the skyliner and busses start prior to the park opening.

    Hello Jody! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like you are getting ready for a visit to a galaxy far, far away! Your visit is so close! Reviewing transportation options for traveling the Walt Disney World Resort is a great planning strategy! You don't want to miss a moment of the magic!

    It sounds like you are familiar with the Boarding Group process for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Let's see what we can do about getting you there in lightspeed! The best mode of transportation to take to Disney's Hollywood Studios is best determined by which Disney Resort Hotel you have selected. For example, if you are staying at one of the resorts connected to the Disney Skyliner such as Disney's Riviera Resort, Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney's Art of Animation Resort, or Disney's Pop Century Resort, then the Disney Skyliner will most likely be your most efficient mode of transportation.

    If you are staying at a resort within proximity to Disney's Hollywood Studios such as Disney's Yacht Club, Disney's Beach Club, Disney's Boardwalk Inn, or the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel or Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel, then you might want to consider either a Friendship Water Taxi or walking to Disney's Hollywood Studios. If you are staying at any other Disney Hotel Resort then I recommend taking bus transportation. Complimentary bus transportation begins about one hour prior to park opening. Disney Skyliner and Friendship Water Taxi operating hours are subject to change. I recommend you check with your resort hotel upon check-in to see the most up-to-date hours during your stay.
