What transportation is available to get from the airport to Aulani?

    Hi JoAnn,

When I visited Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa last month, there were three good transportation options to get you from Honolulu International Airport to the resort.  You could take a taxi (approximately $80-100/one way), a private car service ($199.42 round trip), or rent your own car ($40-45/day) through Alamo. Aulani has an Alamo rental desk at the Holoholo Travel and Tours office to the left of the Maka'ala lobby.  It is only 17 miles from the airport to Aulani, so any of these three options would be a reasonable choice.  Personally, I used a private car service (Cloud 9 Limo) and it was a lovely 30 minute ride using this option.

There is also an inexpensive public transportation system on Oahu known as The Bus.  However, the nearest stop for this system is one mile from Aulani, so I wouldn't choose this option as it would not be convenient especially if you have luggage.

Groups of six or more may want to consider calling Waikiki Express at (808) 539-9481 to reserve a shuttle service from the airport to Aulani.  This shuttle costs $37 per person.

Have fun planning your great Hawaiian escape!  Let me know if there's any more I can tell you about this magnificent resort.
